We were fortunate to obtain a grant from a new ARTS SOCIETY project for  GLA Young Arts.   Armed with £500  we have embarked on a new project to the Southgate branch of the Southover Partnership. This is a small school for pupils with Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs (SEMH). Most of the students have had a  difficult educational history and often a disturbed home life as well. The grant enabled us to purchase small digital cameras which would be used not only for their studies but to record their  daily life at school

A presentation was made by the Chairman and our Young Arts representative to the Headteacher Jenny Merryweather and to Dr Dayo Okuniola , the executive head of the Southover Partnership
